К этимологии: "Following the practice of naming CRESS virus taxa with reference to their circular genomes, we suggest naming the families after three rings from Tolkien’s canon: Naryaviridae and Nenyaviridae for the two Entamoeba-infecting virus families and Vilyaviridae for the Giardia infecting family" (op. cit., р. 4).
